Meet Our Associate Pastor
Currently serving as an associate pastor at Pleasant Oak, Reverend Jacquelyn Peace Bradshaw was born on July 17, 1964 in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Washington, DC and Temple Hills, Maryland. She is the daughter of the late George Nathaniel Peace of Blackstone, Virginia and Mrs. Laura Woodson Peace, who currently resides in Waldorf, MD.
 
Reverend Bradshaw received her elementary, middle and secondary education in both the public and private educational systems in Washington, DC and Prince George’s County, Maryland, graduating from Potomac Senior High in June 1982. She attended Southeastern University and the University of Phoenix.
 
She is currently employed by the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute in Arlington, Virginia as the Director of Web Services. She has been employed in both the public and private sectors including the Library of Congress, Exxon Corporation, Coca-Cola, the Virginia Department of Education and the National Mining Association.
 
She resides in Crewe, Virginia with her husband of 18 years, Ralph Edward Bradshaw.
 
Reverend Bradshaw was baptized into the Christian faith in February 1984 and become a member of the Southern Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Washington, DC. Upon relocating to Crewe, she joined Eleven Oaks Baptist Church in 1988, where she served as co-director of the Junior Usher Board and publisher of the Eleven Oaks newsletter, the Oak Tree.
 
Reverend Bradshaw answered her calling into the ministry on May 20, 2005, was licensed on February 18, 2006 at Eleven Oaks Baptist Church by the Reverend Dr. Thomas L. Whittle (retired) and ordained on September 30, 2007 under the auspices of the Pleasant Oak Baptist Church, where the Reverend Dr. James L. Green is the pastor.
 
She is currently attending Calvary Christian College in Waldorf, Maryland, pursuing a degree in Religious Science and Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Pastoral Leadership. 
 
God has given Reverend Bradshaw the vision for a community-based ministry and from that vision the Community Friendship Ministry Team was formed and organized in September 2006. The ministry’s mission is to provide food, clothing and other needed services to the community at large while proclaiming the Good News of Christ. 
 
It is her fervent prayer that the ministry God has entrusted to her will renew minds, restore hope and revive spirits through the teaching and preaching of God's Word all while loving and serving God’s people as Jesus commanded.
